The next day he went to his aunt's house for her 70th birthday. He went to help his cousin at work because he was bored. On Saturday he went to the morning market and the night market, it was one of his favorite thing in the holiday.Tangis last highlight was about his sisters helping  him with his chores because he only had to do one thing while his sisters did everything else.

Lowlights-
Tangi’’s only lowlights was staying home for the first week because his mum and dad had to go to work and he stayed with his aunty and did nothing.

Dream holiday-
Tangi’s dream holiday is to go to Australia and visit Salome and buy stuff that costs a lot of money in Australia. Buy a Ipad and a Ipod so he can play games and listen to music. Also he will go to Tonga and  buy clothes and shoes for his family. I am sure that he will have a lovely time If that dream came true.

My term refection.

In trem 2, my highlight was swimming because I was surprised the the water was warm. My other highlight is egg thinking because on the final egg thinking challenge my groups egg protection helped ours not to crack. My last highlight of term was learning times table and also my divided bys.

For this whole term nothing was boring except for singing practice because we had to sit for hours and hours listening to teacher growling and kids talking.

For next  term I am looking forward to playing badminton because I love to play sports. Also I am really looking forward to doing more work, Last thing is learning about Asia because I have no idea what kind of food they eat.

My story.

MY STORY
About me
My name is Valenisia and I go to St Pius X Catholic School. I like to play netball and rugby because I love shooting the ball into the hoop and I love  kicking the ball and tackling my brother so he can fall. I have one mum and a dad, my dad is a good baker and my mum works hard and loves my dad baking.
My brother is only 12 years old and he plays rugby, my little sister is only 2 years and my little brother is 1 years old. My favourite thing to do is play on the trampoline but the only thing I hate about it is that when it rains I can’t play on it. My favourite singer is Stan Walker, I love all of his songs.

Explain Hero
My hero is Stan Walker because he has inspired me to do everything that is possible, to follow my dream no matter what . He has inspired me by making a lot of successes.  Stan Walker is the best singer I have ever heard.

Explain Future
My Career in the future is that I will have a job that I will never get sick of. The thing I want most is to run my own company by baking cakes for other people. I can use the recipe that my dad uses to baked his cakes for other people’s birthdays.
Explain Surrounding
My surrounding is to live in a two story mansion house with a swimming pool so that whenever I want to go to the beach I just go to the swimming pool at my house instead. Also I would love to have a Modified because I can drive around  wherever I want and I can drive my children to school.

Image of God in the N.T.

Matthew 23-37

Jerusalem, Jerusalem! You kill the prophets and stone the messengers God has sent you! How many times I wanted to put my arms around all your people, just as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, but you will not let me!

The image of God in the scripture is a hen that gathers her chickens under her wings.

Jonny Wartman visit.

On an awesome afternoon a visitor came to talk to us about some of his successes and also about his job. His name is Jonny Wartman he was a graffiti artist. He came in with painting clothes I knew why he came in with his painting clothes because he was going to take us outside and show a  picture that he was going to spray paint.

Before we went outside so Jonny Wartman  can show us a picture that he was going to draw for us he told us about himself. He was  originally from Christchurch, raised a baby girl that was three and a half and also became a graffiti artist by watching cartoons also drawing them into a book. Right after he told us about himself we asked him some question and my friend Hola asked him a question and her question was ‘’Did he want to become a graffiti artist before he was a teenager.”

I was excited when Johnny Wartman told us that he was going to spray paint a picture for us. When we went outside he took a bag of spray paint and also a canvas to paint the picture. We went under the shelter and sat down, once we sat down he got out tape and also spray cans. Jonny Wartman asked us what do we want him a spray paint, so we told him to spray paint a beach. So he got out the spray cans and started to paint the picture. When he finished spray painting it look like a real beach. My favorite part about his visit is that he spray painted a picture for our classroom.

Math strategy.

This week the strategy I have learned is:
using compensation and place value to solve timetable problem. Here is an example of how to use it:

Place value:
8  x  29=232
(8  x  20)  +  (8  x 9)= 232
160                  72

Compensation:
8  x  29 =232
(8  x  30)  -  (8  x  1) = 232
    240              232

Nickon From Mai FM vist

On Wednesday we were lucky to have a visit from Nickon from Mai FM. He came to tell us about what it is like to work at the radio station.

We had lots of fun because we got to talk on his phone which is connected to Mai F.M.  He took negative stories and changed into positive stories . He travels a lot and he travels to Christchurch every Tuesday for The Erin Simsimpon show. Nickson got to drive 50 Cent around once and stopped at the Warehouse  because that is 50 Cent’s favorite store. Nickson used to work at the radio station where his job was just to pick songs and play Xbox 360.

Now he works for Mai F.M and his crew does the morning session. When famous people come into the studio they have to put their hand on the bible to tell the truth. Nickson said working at the radio station isn’t hard.  His friend Nate always gets them into trouble.

Nickson  never wants to be mean to other people or else they won’t call back. His boss Toast has dreadlocks  and wears sandals in the cold. Nickson just got married last month . People who want to record themselves on Mai F.M  can go on their website.
There are only 37 radio stations in Auckland. Nickson said you want to find something you really like then you’ll be good at it and work hard.

Catholic school day

On a bright Tuesday St Joseph school from Orakei came to celebrate Catholic school day with us. When St Joseph school from Orakei arrived to celebrate Catholic School day at St Pius X Catholic School I was delighted because I wanted to meet a new friend.

We had a Catholic Schools Day mass and there were 370 students. We had a lovely mass with St Joseph. I met a new friend and her name was Ponia but I called her “ Nia”for short.

I took her and showed her around the school, when we bumped into Lose she took her away from me. Lose had to go netball training and I said” When you go netball training I am going to play with her” and she replied back “ Yes.”

Nia was a Tongan just like me and she was ten years old, I was one year older than her. My new friend and I went and walked around the field and I asked Nia if their school  had a big field at their school and she replied back “ Yes but it is a small field.”

After the St Pius and St Joseph students had playtime we had a concert in the hall. Room 7 sang I'm Yours by Jason Mraz and the St Joseph students performed Count On Me by Bruno Mars. Right after the concert we had to say goodbye to our new friends. Catholic School Day was an awesome day because we got to meet new friends and spend time with them. I hope I can see my new friend again.

Mother's day

My mum is tall and has short black hair. She works hard for her family members. She is a helpful person and she protects me. She shares with me every little thing she has. She was born in Auckland and she has never been to Tonga to visit her husbands family. The only people that have visited his family are my brother and I with my grandma

My mum like to watch netball and rugby, she also likes to eat Mcdonalds and KFC. She does not like my brother to watch WWE because he fights nearly every day with his outside friends. She dislikes my brother and I watching movies or doing stuff we are not supposed to do. She also likes to travel to places she has never been before like Australia. She likes to speak in Tongan and she likes to read books to me in her free time.

She supports me at everything I do, she has guided me all the way and I have respect for what she has done for me. Whenever I feel sad she comes and cheers me up just like what my friends will do if they were there. She will tuck me into my bed so I can be warm in the night because in the morning I am sometimes freezing to death!

I love my mum because she has guided me in my
whole entire life, she has never left me alone and when she is gone she is never gone because she is in my heart. Every time when my dad is sick she has to look after her whole family like my little and older brother and my sister and I.

Goldilocks persuasvie

I believe that Goldilocks did the wrong thing.

Firstly, she broke into the bears house. Goldilocks had no right  to go in the house. It is against the law to break into other peoples house. She didn't own the house, and also she is trespassing.

Secondly, she used things without asking and broke things. Goldilocks does not own anything in the house. She can’t  afford the things she broke. She touched things that weren't hers.

Thirdly, she left when they came home. She was rude to the three bears. She didn't  apologise.

I believe that Goldilocks should go to jail because she had no right t break in the bears house.

Jesus lesson 6

prayer
Healing
teaching
service
death
Resurrection
He went up a mountain and prayed.
He said to pray the  our father.

He the poor.
He healed a man you couldn't talk. He healed aa Father s daughter
He had the last supper.
He teached kids.
He walked on water. Preached about the BIble. He was tempted.
He washed the disciples feet. Fed thousands of people with fish and bread. He helped the poor. He looked after the paralyzed.
He died for our sins
He spent 40 day and nights in the desert.

Why did Jesus do these things.
- He wants us to follow his footstep.
- He wanted to be like God,his father in Heaven
- He wanted us to understand the 2 most important commandment.
- He obeyed God’s rules.
- He had the last supper with the disciples because he was going to suffer.
