(One of the worst days of my life)

One of the worst days of my life was when I lost on of my family member which was my dad.When passed away felt miserable because he was the one who pushed me to do the best i can do in everything I do. Everyone who was there when he passed away was very miserable just like I was. My tears were running down my face like it was a waterfall falling down to the stream, I tried to clam my-self down but I couldn't because I was experiencing what it feels like to lose someone you really loved that has been part of your life. But It was good that God has taken up to heaven,so he does not have to suffer from the pain he was going through ever since he was a little kind. 

This is a little riddle I have read:

Dad, thinking of you is easy I do it every-day, But missing you is a heartache that never goes away.

Yesterday was an awful day for me because my neck was sore and I felt like I could not move I, so I had to stay in bed with my sore neck. My neck felt I had broke it, my neck was a real pain to me because my brother and sister was jumping on me when I was sleeping, it was so annoying.

It was also a awful day because I missed out on a lot of my school work and also because we had a netball game on.

Today so far has been a great day. 
So far today has been good because I learnt about Glasgow. I am enjoying my day because I am learning a lot about things outside of that I did not know before. Later in the day I was sad when I heard that my cousin's grandma was moved into the hospice to stay which is at Manurewa. Today I think is going to be a relaxing day because everyone is doing there work. 

Milk experiment.

CHILLY MILK EXPERIMENT:

PURPOSE:   TO OBSERVE AND RECORD THE CHANGES WHEN DIFFERENT MILK IS PUT IN THE FREEZER.

WHAT YOU NEED: a selection of 3 different type of milk

clear container

WHAT TO DO: Put  an equal volume of each type of milk in a clear container

Place each container in the freezer

Record what happens to each type of milk as it freezes.  Note its colour, texture and shape.

Record the time it takes to each variety to freeze.

Type of milk	what it looked like once it had been freezed.	Time taken to freeze
UP & GO	Icy, the colour went kind of darker.	It took over night.
CONDENSED MILK	I looks the same. ( GOEY )	Not sure because it is still not frozen
ALMOND MILK	It looked icy, ( WHITE ICE ) did not look like milk at all.	It took over night

UP & GO PREDICTION :

`With the Up & Go our prediction is that it'll go kind of flaky/icy

The colour will go lighter so will the texture and the shape will be round, depending on the shape of the container or cup.

TIME : 30 - 35 MINS

CONDENSED MILK PREDICTION :

We think that it’ll freeze slowly because of how goey it is, or it might just be icy cold.

The colour will kind of stay the same so as the texture & the shape will just be goey and round because of the cup it is in. But then it might only be the top that freezes,and the inside it’ll just be icy cold and goey.

TIME : 30-55 MINS

ALMOND MILK PREDICTION :

We think that the almond milk will freeze, but it’ll kind of take it’s time. W sa that the colour will stay the same or look a bit watery.  The texture would look the same and the shape would be round/circle.

2. Why doesn't CONDENSED MILK freeze ?

ANSWER : because theirs no water in it...

( Cause all the water has been taken out of it.)

Conclusion:

My conclusion is that the condensed milk didn't freeze because there is no water in it. to freeze something you have water in it, for example, up & go and almond milk has a lot water.

 

Mrs Pole Farewell.....

Mrs Pole 

Today was a pretty exhausted day, because we had a farewell mass for one of our teachers named Mrs Pole.  It was such a long mass but also emotional to say bye to her. Some of the ex- students and teachers came back to say good-bye.  It was  packed full of different  people who knew Mrs Pole . Some of the ex- students went up and said some kind  words about their experience with Mrs Pole.

This mass was important because Mrs Pole is one of the best teachers that have been teaching at Saint Pius X Catholic School ever since 1996. She is one of the oldest teacher at Saint Pius.  I will never forget her words “ You make my blood boil!” It was amazing to see Mrs Pole smile again,  I am going to miss Mrs Pole so much.
